The Entrepreneurial Midwife: Strategies for Successful Midwifery Practice Start-up and Growth

Starting and growing a midwifery practice is a tremendous endeavor that takes many talents and skills. In this action packed full-day workshop you will learn from two experienced midwives who combined have started four midwifery practices and have consulted on start-up and expansion of many other practices. The workshop begins with learning about your talents as an entrepreneur to help guide you through the many steps to have a successful practice.

Each participant will have the opportunity to take Gallup’s Builder Profile, BP 10(TM) on-line assessment before the workshop. You can access this research based tool at GallupStrengthsCenter.com (at a cost of $12 per person). Bring your personalized report with you to the workshop to receive maximum understanding of your talents. Throughout the remainder of the workshop the presenters will focus on important steps to build the foundation of a successful practice. Practical tools will be introduced related to Clinical Excellence, Relationship Building and Business Savvy Skills. This workshop will be interactive and you will leave with new knowledge and confidence to apply to your midwifery practice.
